I asked the river for her heart
I asked the mountain for her strength
I asked the forest for her soul
I asked the snow for her beauty

And I asked and I searched and I asked.

Then I met her in the most unusual of ways

Dreamful and digital
Silent yet vocal

She had the heart, the soul and the strength, oh and the beauty

But I could only dare to ask for her smile.
